Thanks guys another thought provoking talk.
1962 – The Twilight Zone ~ To Serve Man
I like to speculate as much as the next guy but there is a problem with the speculations of our time and that is they are mainly one sided.
Ever since the convoluted and distorted theories of the space time relationship and of quantum physics “spooky action at a distance”, speculation has gone off the deep end. Logic, reason, and common sense has been replaced by dark matter, black holes, portals, time travel, nonlinear time, multi dimensions…… Those theories only serve in reinforcing mysticism (magic) but who doesn’t love magic.
The problem is that very few know that there are REALISTIC alternative theories out there, the consortium has seen to that. After all they are the authorities the official story tellers.
It is true that we “don’t know what we don’t know” but that is just a distraction. The real issue here is how and why we have been conditioned to believe “what we do know”.
Just as one simple example: lightning bolts are explained to be the result of molecules in the atmosphere rubbing together while any reasonable explanation of how billions of tons of water are being held in the air in despite of gravity is left out. Myself and others recognize that clouds, lightning and volcanic process are part of the sun earth moon electrical connection.
NASA trivializes this because it challenges their paradigm. The Electro Motive Force that exist between the Ionosphere and ground is enormous not even mentioning the Sun Earth connection. The Earth maintains an electric field at its surface between 50 and 200 volts per meter: for every meter above the ground the voltage increases. It’s one of those things we don’t perceive even though it’s all around us.
It’s not until you are standing in a thunderstorm wearing a tinfoil hat that you realize that we live in an electric universe. The electric field beneath thunderstorms can increase to 10,000 volts per meter. Thunderstorms act like particle accelerators, launching massive discharges downward to the ground and upward into space. Above the thunderstorms these discharges are known as sprites. This is just one of the reasons why the possibility that we are part of an interstellar electrical circuit is very high, all that needs to be done is look for ones self.
I would say that if you want to understand the Cosmos, the story of ourselves, it would be advantageous to be thinking in terms of electro magnetic fields, Birkeland currents, frequencies, impedance’s, and planes of vibration all facilitated by a real and tangible aether. If I may say, consciousness the music of existence.
Don’t do this but if you grab the two ends of a wire carrying 120 volt AC or become part of the circuit with a coil that has a potential of 10,000 volts DC when it discharges thru a spark gap then if you can see thru the fear you will understand the electro magnetic force and the power it has over reality (life and death).
Plato said, “I a man neglects education, he walks lame to the end of his life.” I say convince a man of a false truth and he will never see the reality even when it is in plain sight.
Thanks for listening Cal and thanks for the thoughtful comment. I don’t know a whole lot about electricity. I know that electromagnetic energy is one of the four fundamental forces of the universe along with gravity and strong and weak nuclear forces. I’ve read that some scientists believe that there might be a fifth force and that gravity is actually a force that bleeds into our universe from another. When I read about electricity and gravity and nuclear physics, I am usually reminded of how little I know about these things.
Yes, we are run by electricity. Our hearts and brains rely on electricity. I’ve never been struck by lightning but when I was about 12 I was at a neighbor’s house. He had horses in a pen with two strands of electric fencing. I touch one and it felt like a sledgehammer went up my arm. Then I forgot how it felt a few months later so I touched it again.
Thank you David for commenting back.
“They substitute words for reality and then talk about the words” ~ Edwin Armstrong
“One must be sane to think clearly but one can think deeply and be quite insane.” ~ Nikola Tesla
Thanks Cal! I always appreciate your insights!
Thanks Doug for being tolerant of my views.
There are a few words relevant to my style of conversation when it concerns the reality of things. I don’t recall at this moment where I read this but I wrote it down. It is an excellent description of what I try to achieve:
“Sometimes we are wrong, and sometimes our opponents are wrong, but the truth is often a bit different than what either of us believes. We should argue as strongly as possible for our views , and then alter them if we are mistaken. Our goal is not so much to defend our views, but rather to discover the truth.”
When I discus different topics I consider the statements I make to be question that have many answers. I try not to come off as a know it all but when I think or read back the statements I have made, allot of times it seems like that.
I think that it is because I am passionate about acquiring reliable knowledge. Maybe these two statements might describe my passion. One is metaphysical and the other is physical:
Doug you have heard these before in fact you stated a version of the first one in your book, Simulacrum.
This metaphysical one is kind of a motto I live by:
“We are the Cosmos contemplating ourselves.”
I derived this next one from a statement I consider to be a twisted statement (disguised in sheep’s clothing): “Knowledge is power”
When untwisted it reads “Knowledge for a few is power” so my passion can be described like this:
“Knowledge for all is Freedom”
What I am trying to say is that, what I am most looking for as a result of my statements are alternative views on which I can gauge my views on but confirmation is welcome too.
Although the first quote above uses the word opponents I do not consider the people I talk to opponents. I would like to refer to them as an intellectual counter part.
Often times making a statement instead of asking a question invokes the most passionate and reviling answers.
Thanks for reading.
No need to thank me, I love reading your posts. You don’t come off as a know-it-all, I find your views very insightful. Yes! Creation in contemplation. Thank you again!
