“War is good for unemployment?” “Yeah, that’s because a dead guy can’t flip a burger!” – Bobcat Goldthwait
War is big business. I’ve never in my life witnessed the saber rattling reach such deafening levels nor have I ever seen this nation so divided over a silly and meaningless election; meanwhile, the same agenda of conquest pushes forward while the left and right bash each other’s brains in falling for the divide and rule manipulation yet again. Polarize and destroy your brothers and sisters, and you damned well better hate who you are programmed to hate based on your perceptual illusions and your mindless, driveling prepackaged worldview. I would allude to these jackasses as mental retards but that would be an insult to mentally retarded people.
I saw something so sad on the 4th of July that broke my heart into pieces. I live in an area of the country that has a high migrant population. I’m in an inner city and this place brings in a lot of refugees. They bring them into the ghetto, into cities that cannot assimilate them. They occupy large two or three-family houses and they have LOTS of kids.
I was walking up to the corner bodega to get some beer and it was nightfall so the fireworks were starting. On the fourth, fireworks go off all over this city. As I was walking back from the store, the booms were loud and I watched a group of little children scream in horror as an adult man tried to corral them and bring them into the house. It was sickening. I’m assuming that these people came from war-torn regions and that they don’t understand our holiday customs. These children were scared shitless and it made me cry to observe this. In fact, it made me want to vomit. These children most likely lived through the horrors of having their villages bombed and perhaps witnessed members of their family or their neighbors getting blown to bits and naturally assumed that it was happening again due to the loud explosions. The screams of horror and panic from these kids was intense and if you could witness such a thing and not be moved by it, then you are a completely soulless, empty vessel and a pitiful excuse for a human being.
What does a four or five-year-old, newly resettled child know about 4th of July celebrations? The loud booms remind them of when their villages were bombed and the crackling of fireworks sounds like gunshots and it was just completely fucked up to observe this.
I find it just so messed up that we live in a beautiful world in which abundant and immense beauty surrounds us and yet we allow it to be destroyed at the hands of criminally insane psychopaths. When will we ever learn? Watching the way these children reacted was disturbing and heart wrenching to say the least.
Have you ever heard the phrase: “ignorance is bliss?” Ignorance is not bliss! It is your fucking downfall! If you’re OK with being blissfully ignorant then you are nothing more than a willing slave and you deserve to fall. You will fall! You deserve to because you don’t even know what freedom is or what it entails to be free. If you wish to remain within a state of ignorance while falsely beLIEving that you are free, that’s fine and great but you will never be anything more than a comfortable slave oblivious to the fact that you are one!
I’ve seen a number of “man in the street” videos in which college students, even grown “adults” cannot successfully answer basic questions about their own history; questions like: “what are we celebrating on the 4th of July?” Droves of people do not even know what country America declared its independence from or in which year the Declaration of Independence was signed. One thing is for certain; if you have no grasp on history then you are doomed to repeat it! For the dim bulbs that don’t even know what a book is, it was England and the year was 1776. Basic knowledge! But who cares, right? I don’t need to know this shit. It has no relevance on my ability to update my Facebook status with irrelevant shit or to march unquestioningly like a bleating and babbling frail little sheep on its way to the slaughter.
Over the years, I’ve heard many people declaring loudly and proudly that they don’t read books as if that is something to be proud of or to brag about. Ignorance has become the new “cool” and these proud morons will shun and disparage you for daring to engage in the lost art of thinking while they mock intelligence and celebrate ignorance as they bend their knee at the altar of stupidity. They’ve become completely distracted and enthralled with the mundane and the ridiculous but that’s OK because then they don’t have to wake up to the realization of how badly they and their children are being fucked.
The way I see it, we’ve reached the crossroads, the fork in the road. We have two choices: we can choose to come together, you know, as a family and embrace compassion, cooperation, kindness, caring, empathy and love or we can take the shaft and plummet off of the cliff and into the arms of our very extinction. Don’t fall for the divide and conquer game! Stop looking outside of yourself for leadership or for answers. Stop playing the game that is only misleading you into the abyss! Honor intelligence and wake yourself from your damned-near comatose state! Realize your own potential! So much of what your forefathers warned you about if we became too complacent is occurring all around you; it’s glaringly obvious to anyone with a few brain cells working in unison or even a modicum of historical understanding.
We have things available to us that we never did before in all of human history. For goodness sake take advantage of it! You have an abundance of information available to you right at your fingertips. You have the ability to give yourself a college education from the comfort of your own home without having to pay $75,000 for a piece of paper from an “accredited” university. You possess the ability to gain an education and expand your knowledge on your own terms. However, the same tools can simply be utilized as a means of distraction. Which do you prefer? Sadly, the majority prefers the latter. One thing is for sure: we live within very interesting times!
Walk in peace.

I love reading your spot on articles. If for no other reason than to know there are like minds out there, just as frustrated by the ignorant masses that refuse to read or learn a thing. It wouldn’t bother me so much, if the success of the collective didn’t depend on the numbers.
Thank you Dayna! I know that I can be harsh and vitriolic at times but I get very frustrated. Thanks for reading and please check back frequently. All the best!
